Govt Releases Civil Servant Pay Dates For July, Civil Servants To Get 17,5% Salary Increase

Yesterday Government released pay dates for civil servants for July with its employees also expected to start receiving their 17,5 percent salary rise.

The pay dates are as follows:

  • health sector, Zimbabwe National Army and Air Force of Zimbabwe- 16 July
  • police Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service- July 20.
  • education sector- July 24
  • rest of the civil servants- July 27
  • Pensioners- July 31

In an interview with The Chronicle, Zimbabwe Teachers’ Association chief executive officer Mr Sifiso Ndlovu said teachers were expecting to receive a pay rise as no communication to the contrary has been made. He said teachers are now seeking Government’s clarification on the payment of cash-in-lieu of outstanding vacation leave days.
