Addressing a Zanu-PF rally in Kuwadzana, Harare, yesterday, Vice President Chiwenga said the people behind the terrorist attack at White City Stadium in Bulawayo will be arrested.

This is despite the fact that two Bulawayo men, Douglas Musekiwa and John Zulu who were arrested after being alleged to be behind the Bulawayo explosion at President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s rally, were released without charges. The two were detained on terrorism charges over the explosion which killed two people and injured well over 40 other people. Said Chiwenga:

You all saw what happened at White City Stadium in Bulawayo. That is not what we expect in Zimbabwe. It is something that we condemn in the strongest terms. These terrorists will be apprehended. The police and other security arms are investigating the matter and eventually the perpetrators will be arrested because they have nowhere to hide.
