Former Minister’s Daughter Arrested For Impersonating Perrance Shiri

 

Ellen Zimondi, 35, the daughter of former Minister of State for Manicaland Province, Mandiitawepi Chimene was arrested for impersonating Minister of Lands, Agriculture and Resettlement Perrance Shiri. Zimondi allegedly sold land to unsuspecting people after using Shiri’s name to fraudulently acquire the land. Zimondi and her husband are alleged to have collected $10 300 and five cattle from one of the victims.

Zimondi appeared before Mutare magistrate Tendai Mahwe who remanded her in custody pending the bail ruling. Zimondi is denying all charges.
