Former Police Commissioner General Augustine Chihuri has been taken to the High Court for failing to pay a water bill amounting to $44 984.
The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (Zinwa) is suing Chihuri for failing to pay for water consumed water at his Inyika Farm in Shamva. Zinwa is also claiming interest plus costs of the suit. Chihuri agreed to pay for the water monthly which Zinwa says he failed to do. He is yet to respond to the civil claim at the High Court.
