Ndoro Needed A New Start To Get His Life In Order: Ajax Explains Why They Released Ndoro

Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral has said that he felt that it was in the best interests of the club and the player if Tendai Ndoro left the club. Said Ertugral,

I think it was best for him to start over at a new club and get his life back in order again. I spoke with him a few weeks ago and he was a bit down as you can imagine. I also felt that there are some personal off-the-field issues that he needs to deal with. It was unfortunate that the whole thing of ineligibility happened. You have to understand that it affected him a lot and he was not stable.

Ajax released the Warriors striker but not before being hit with R150 000 fine and forfeiting three matches for using Ndoro who was ineligible to play for the club.
