Mnangagwa Should Apologise For 2008 Violence, Failure Will Prove He Is Not Fit To Lead: Biti

Speaking to 263Chat, MDC Alliance principal Tendai Biti said President Mnangagwa should apologise for the political violence staged by Zanu-PF and military in the run up to the June 2017 2008 Presidential elections run off. Biti said failure to do so will prove Mnangagwa is unable to lead Zimbabwe.

Said Biti:

It should not have happened from the start and the perpetrators including Emmerson Mnangagwa should apologize, failure to do so will be a reflection that he is not fit to lead this country.

Progressive Teachers Union of Zimbabwe (PTUZ) President, Takavafira Zhou said people must always remember 27 June and honour those who died in pursuit democracy by voting a legitimate party in the form of MDC Alliance. Nelson Chamisa’s spokesperson, Nkululeko Sibanda said the Peace Pledge signed by political parties is incomplete as long it does not address the aspect of justice to those that died on 27 June 2008.

  1. There are a lot of things Biti should apologise for but he does not the reason why he is pressurizind ED to apologise is because it is hard for him to do the same. Apologizing has nothing to do with the price of eggs my point is apologising cannot be a yardstick of measuring the suitability of being President
