Zimbabwe is well known as a peaceful country and we should thrive to ensure that we maintain that good record.

We need to respect humanity preach love and love each other. Zimbabweans must abstain from intimidation and violence if we want to have peaceful free, fair and credible elections.

The MDC-T reaffirms it’s covenant with the people of Zimbabwe, to deliver a genuine and people- driven change in our country. This begins by holding elections which are violent free to all Presidential, Legislative and Council candidates regardless of their political affiliations, and to the electorate as well.

To this end, our party would like to implore all Zimbabweans to remain united, vigilant and to embrace each other in our diversity. We preach tolerance, inclusivity, and equal opportunities for all. Noone should be barred from campaigning or have their posters tempered with. Our pursuit for just, free and equal Zimbabwean society is through non-violent means.
