Vice President Kembo Mohadi has reiterated that the media should follow the law and cover all parties equally. Mohadi said that this was necessary to ensure that the losing parties would not have any excuses. State media, in particular, ZBC and Zimpapers publications, The Herald, The Chronicle and The Sunday Mail have been accused of being Zanu-PF mouthpieces and have been consistently criticised for their biased reporting. Said Mohadi,
There are some parties that are complaining that the media isn’t giving them coverage which isn’t right. The media must give all parties a platform to sell their manifestos to the people so that when they lose they don’t give excuses that they lost because they didn’t have coverage.
