Chicken Inn Striker Found Guilty Of Defaulting On Maintenance Payments, Faces Jail

Chicken Inn striker Obadiah Tarumbwa was convicted on charges of maintenance default by Bulawayo magistrate Miss Rachel Rumbidzayi Mukanga after his arrears reached $6000. The footballer was ordered to pay $1500 by Wednesday. If he defaults again, he will be locked up until he pays. Tarumbwa pleaded with the Magistrate saying that he cannot afford to the $316 per month for his two minor children as he is not on a fixed contract.
