Norton legislator Temba Mliswa has called on MDC Alliance president Mr Nelson Chamisa to publicly denounce violence in his party.
Writing on Twitter yesterday, Mliswa advised Chamisa that campaigning as if nothing is happening is explosive and does not show good leadership qualities. Said Mliswa:
It’s important Nelson Chamisa (@nelsonchamisa) issues a statement denouncing the interparty violence targeting Hon. Members of Parly (Parliament) like Mutseyami in Manicaland. Ignoring such incidents and continuing to campaign like nothing happened is explosive and not the type of leadership to subscribe to.
