Zanu-PF To Decide On Didymus Mutasa, G40 Members’ Applications

In an interview with The Herald, Zanu-PF secretary for administration Obert Mpofu confirmed Didymus Mutasa had applied for readmission into the party, saying the party will make a decision on the application. Mpofu also confirmed G40 members had also applied for readmission into the party.

According to sources who spoke to The Herald, Mutasa pledged to work with the new leadership, saying he remained Zanu-PF at heart. Walter Mzembi, Makhosini Hlongwane, Kudzanai Chipanga and Anastancia Ndlovu are seeking readmission into the party after being expelled for being members of the G40 Faction. Said Mpofu:

I can confirm receiving a note from Cde Mutasa. We will sit down and consider his request. I can also confirm that quite a number of former Zanu-PF members are coming back home. They have written to us seeking readmission into the ruling party. We are dealing with the issues to ensure we accommodate them.

  1. I think G40 must join Chamisa like NPF so they they have the same values of thinking that they should be voted into government because they are young not because they have the requisite maturity and wisdom
