President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s ally Abednico Ncube who lost the Gwanda South Zanu-PF primary election to ZBC announcer Omphile Marupi will represent the ruling party in the July 30 elections.  Ncube refused to talk to NewsDay. However, Marupi confirmed the matter saying,

Man, I am out. No reasons were given. There is something someone is hiding, but it will come out in the open
