Khama Billiat Speaks On Move To Europe

In an interview with TimesLive, Warriors midfielder Khama Billiat said he does not want to move to Europe for the wrong reasons.

Billiat said he does not want to go to Europe because he is getting old but because he deserves to be there. He added that he wants to go to certain clubs that he wants to play for. Said Billiat:

Obviously for every player it’s a dream to play overseas. But maybe it’s different with me. I want to play overseas for the right reason. I don’t want to be there because I’m getting old. I want to be there because I deserve to be there. I want to be there because my talent allows me to be there. And I want to be there also to go to certain clubs and certain countries that‚ also‚ I believe I want to be in. Not just be there because it’s Europe‚ and not be happy and the next thing I’m back.

Billiat said his manager Mike Ngobeni told him that there are concrete offers for him but he didn’t disclose them urging him to focus on the Cosafa Cup.
