Zanu-PF Supporters Forced To Return Party T-Shirts In Chegutu

Zanu-PF supporters were reportedly forced to return party T-shirts when they were leaving a Zanu-PF rally at Pfupajena Stadium in Chegutu. President Emmerson Mnangagwa who was to address the rally was late in arriving at the Stadium and this caused some of the supporters who had arrived at the venue early to start leaving around midday. However, security did not take this well and after initially trying to stop them from leaving, made them take off the Zanu-PF t-shirts. One supporter was heard saying,

Uri mwana wanezuro iwe, uchiri kubva mukaka pamhuno, ungandiudze kuti ndibvise skipper iyi yandapihwa nemusangano? sei usina matyira (You are too young for me, how can you tell me to remove the t-shirt which I was given by the party? Why are don’t you respect your elders).
