Ovidy Karuru is out of the Cosafa Cup following an injury which was initially thought to be mild but will now require surgery.
Karuru was taken off in the second half of the penalty shoot-out win against Namibia after a tackle on his ankle forced him off. He will now miss the semi-final against Lesotho scheduled for the new Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane tomorrow and the final on Saturday if Zimbabwe qualify.
