Mnangagwa Signs Electoral Amendment Act Into Law

President Emmerson Mnangagwa has signed the Electoral Amendment Act into law.

This was announced by the Parliament of Zimbabwe via a Facebook post. The post reads:

Please kindly note that pursuant to section 131(6)(a) of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, the Electoral Amendment Act No. 6 of 2018 and the Zimbabwe Iron and Steel Company (Debt Assumption) Act No. 5 of 2018 were signed into law by His Excellency the President. This automatically means that the number of Bills currently before Parliament has been reduced to 8.
