In an interview with The Herald, Thokozani Khupe’s Vice President Obert Gutu said the breakaway MDC-T faction will summon commander of the Nelson Chamisa led MDC-T “vanguard youth” militia, Shakespeare Mukoyi, to court so that he testifies how the group facilitated Chamisa’s rise to power.
This comes after Mukoyi revealed in an interview NewsDay where he revealed that the vanguard was used by the party’s leadership to ensure that Nelson Chaisa took over from Morgan Tsvangirai. Said Gutu:

Since the Supreme Court said our case can go for trial, this is a good development for us. We have these guys where we want them to be. We are going to approach the courts to have Mukoyi testify in court and reveal what they did in view of his confession.
