MDC politician Priscilla Misihairabwi-Mushonga yesterday praised President Emmerson Mnangagwa for being humble and attending the women’s meeting.
She said that Mnangagwa is accessible. Said Misihairabwi:
Presidents have always been difficult to access for a number of reasons and I hope because we said this is going to be very open and frank, you will allow me Mr President to be brutally frank. Your Excellency the main problem that we had with accessing Presidents has been gatekeepers around the President. Literally those that are around Presidents, we had to work with them as if midzimu (spirit mediums) and just to getting to where you are is a struggle and for us having you here is exceptional and it is historic. So we broke with tradition in a number of ways. We broke with tradition in terms of how this meeting was even organised because tradition has always said we have to go and be vetted by security, our organisations have to say who funds them in case we are being funded by regime change agents. Your Excellency, we are glad we did not have to do that.

Priscilla- you may not know how people are suffering in this country. Munangwana is a very cruel person, he appears to be humble to be marketable to the 14 million suffering and poverty-stricken. It’s not about being humble by spending money on the things which are not priorities of the country like buying cars for chiefs and spending $70 million on campaign materials. Buying a new parliament for $230 million, what for? Supporting the firing of nurses because they exercised their democratic rights. We know this man very well. Saruchena- Munangagwa has been with Mugabe for 38 years not 6 months. As for the businesses which you are talking, ZANU Pf cannibalized all those companies and now you are looting the parastatals which are forced to contribute to your party. Even in those 6 months, what has he produced except useless MOUs with Chinese, food prices have gone up, people are still sleeping in the queques. If you play with the Chinese, you are going to mortgage this country and the future generations are already doomed. Ask the USA government which is having a trade war with the Chinese.
