Jessie Majome Accuses MDC-T Youth Of Attacking Her On Social Media, Told To Go and Herd Donkeys

Harare West legislator Jessie Majome has accused MDC-T youths of creating a WhatsApp group which they have used to attack her.

Speaking during an interview on Capitalk FM on Tuesday evening, Majome said at one instance she told that she is old and must go herd donkeys in the village. Said Majome:

I have experienced incredible abuse on social media particularly WhatsApp run in some quarters in the party. It seems like youths chauvinism. I have very malicious accusations. For example, they say I am old and must ship out. One of my competitors is a 24- year-old girl. They say you are old, get out and go. They say chembere ngadziende kumusha dzindofudza madhongi.

Majome who has been receiving media attention since her announcement that she was withdrawing from MDC-T primary elections, questioned why she was being labelled as old considering that she is only 6 years older than party leader Nelson Chamisa. She added that she has met Mr Morgan Komichi over the issue of primary elections and he promised to get in touch with her.
