Chamisa Won’t Have An Excuse If He Loses 2018 Elections Because We Have Allowed Him To Campaign: Charamba

President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s spokesperson George Charamba has said MDC Alliance presidential candidate Nelson Chamisa will not have an excuse if he loses the forthcoming elections because he has been allowed to campaign.

Charamba said this while addressing journalists in Kariba. Said Charamba:

What young Chamisa has done and done inadvertently, but in a way that is nationally helpful, is to show that he can walk the length and breadth of this country uninhibited, which means it is going to be difficult for him to turn around and say it wasn’t free, it was unfair, then people will say comrade we saw you all over the country, and we will be singing hero sadza garwe swedera, hero sadza garwe swedera,  (here is the meal, crocodile advance), in apparent reference to Mnangagwa’s  moniker.

  1. Sir Charamba, what permission are you talking about, Parties should campaign at will in a free country…… Chisa Hezvokooo mbwaaaaa

  2. Iwe George. You know you’re going to rig by other means. It’s long been your plan to say we allowed you campaign. The the very fact you’re saying “we allowed “. It is a democratic right. It’s not for you to allow or not allow.

  3. Charamba- you know how the elections will be rigged. The printer of the ballot paper should be selected in a transparent manner to level the playing ground. We do not want to participate in a flawed election and legitimize the junta.
