Election Rigging Plot: Prof Moyo Questions Hardtalk’s Claim That Ballots Already Printed

In a threat of tweets today, Professor Jonathan Moyo questioned a claim by Hardtalk host Stephen Sackur, that “Ballot papers have been printed.” According to Moyo this should not ordinarily be the case if the candidates and election dates are not known.  Moyo has called on Zimbabwe Election Commission (ZEC), the Zim government, the UK Government, and the Hardtalk to explain Sackur’s claim.

In his series of tweets, Jonathan Moyo also accused the UK government (through its ambassador Catriona Laing) of working in cahoots with the Zimbabwe government to ensure a Mnangagwa victory in the 2018 elections. The UK Embassy in Zimbabwe has denied this.

  1. Don’t trust British government. They were involved in gukurahundi. A lot of Zimbabweans will die in these elections sponsored by Britain. This relationship is not healthy at all.

  2. People in politics should not keep quiet when claims like these happen. They are still talking about Chamisa marrying off her sister and ignoring claims by Suckur of already printed ballot paper , someone should explain these things –

  3. Professor you have made an impartial revelation which need to be looked at, at an epic perspective. The issue of dates and candidates must be the first thing prior to printing of ballots papers. If ballots papers are printed then your claim for a rigging process is precisely true….

  4. Jonso is clever people might say a lot of this about him but he knows the game , how did this stupid Surker come to know that the ballot papers are printed , it says a lot , and it shows Britain is on it again , that is why Mugabe used to tell them to keep their Britain and we keep our Zimbabwe but this time tichasvitsana kumapena .
