Grace Mugabe has approached the High Court seeking to compel Arosume Property Development (Private) Limited to hand over a “donation” of five hectares of prime land, worth millions of dollars, in Borrowdale, Harare. Grace claims the company donated two stands measuring 2,6676 ha and 2,3311ha in 2011 but refused to transfer ownership into her name.
Arosume denies donating the stands to Grace. In her application, Grace cites Arosume and the Registrar of Deeds as respondents. Grace also wants the company to be ordered to pay for costs of suit.
