Dynamos have fired Lloyd Mutasa as their coach after having lost half the matches they have played in the opening 10 games of the 2018 season. Mutasa’s assistant Biggie Zuze has appointed the team’s interim coach awaiting the appointment of a new coach.
Goalkeepers’ coach, Zondai Nyaungwa along with fitness trainer Tendai Chaipa were also fired. Speaking to The Herald, Dynamos president, Kenny Mubaiwa, confirmed they had made some changes, but could not give the finer details saying the club’s secretary-general Webster Marechera would issue a statement. A letter from Dynamos to Mutasa said the coach had been elevated to the post of technical director responsible for scouting, talent identification, junior team development and advising the coaching staff where necessary.
