First Lady To Fight Sexual Harassment of Female Students At Colleges, Attachment

First lady Auxillia Mnangagwa has revealed that she is working with legal experts to come up with measures to protect female tertiary students. The first lady said that she was concerned about the sexual harassment experienced by the students at their colleges and at the workplace when they go on industrial attachment. Speaking at a conference for female students, she said

Sexual harassment at colleges and during student attachment must be nipped in the bud and perpetrators of such violence brought to book…I will also seek guidance from the legal fraternity on how policies and legislation that protect female students on a college campus and industrial attachment can be put in place and enforced so that sexual harassment is curbed.
