Tshinga Dube Hints At GNU, Says Chamisa Must Come On Board To Fix The Economy

Former War Veterans Minister Colonel (retired) Tshinga Dube has said that MDC-T leader Nelson Chamisa should come on board to work with President Emmerson Mnangagwa so that the pair can focus on  growing the economy. Dube said that there was no need to focus on politics and hinted at another Government of National Unity (GNU). Speaking to the Daily News Dube said,

Zimbabweans are expending too much energy on politics, instead of focusing on the economy to better the lives of our long-suffering countrymen. It is also my wish that we engage with the dynamic young man, the president of the MDC — Nelson Chamisa — to come on board so that we unite our people and make sure that instead of channelling our energy into politics, we also concentrate on our economy

If . . . Mnangagwa continues with his policies and gets a good someone to assist him, this country in 10 years will not be a third world country but a first world country. Instead of focusing on politics, we need to be focusing on improving our health delivery system, our education and our welfare among others. Let us give him (Mnangagwa) a chance for the next five years to create jobs for our people.

  1. hahahahaha, unopenga mdara iwe, sort the problems u created for us yourselves, either zanu out entirely or u do it yourselves

  2. Hahaaha, this is coming coz ZANU PF is seeing that the chances of winning against MDC-Alliance’s Nelson Chamisa are not there and hence to weaken the opposition they think its best to co-opt the leader!!!
They might also want to take also his ideas and say its theirs but too bad, talking of a GNU now is rubbish to most of us who saw how it was.
    – To be led and controlled by someone who wants you to look bad, they just dont give you resources to do your assignment just to let the povo think you are a failure.
For an example – City of Harare used to collect the vehicle licences but now it was ZINARA why, so that we blame City of Harare for not repairing the roads, yet the money to do so was not being collected by another board?
No, let each stand their own chance and no to GNU again.
Why does Tshinga Dube talk like its a favour to Nelson Chamisa, let alone to the children of Zimbabwe? when in actual fact its a desperate action to stop him from getting what he is soon to gain, the presidence of the country through a fair, democratic election.
