Chief Urges Villagers To Keep Mnangagwa In Power

Addressing villagers at Chinyenyetu Business Centre in Gokwe North at a handover ceremony of two acres of land by legislator Justice Mayor Wadyajena to be used as a flea market, Chief Chireya (Mr Henry Chidzivo) urged voters to keep Wadyajena and President Emmerson Mnangagwa in power saying there is no need “to unnecessarily change people who would be spearheading development.”

Chief Chireya also called for peace in the upcoming elections. Said Chief Chireya:

As traditional leaders, we remain apolitical. We do not delve into partisan politics. But where there is need to give credit we are duty-bound to do that. You do not need to unnecessarily change people who would be spearheading development as what we have witnessed with Cde Wadyajena and in particular the present Government led by President Mnangagwa.

He also said he is proud of Mnangagwa because he wants to see Zimbabwe prosper.
