During a Facebook Live broadcast on Sunday, Acie Lumumba said the chaos surrounding Zanu-PF primary elections is a reflection of what will happen during the forthcoming elections.
Lumumba also hinted that Zanu-PF will rig the vote, saying that the electorate has already voted before the day. Said Lumumba:
Zanu-PF is conditioning us for what’s really going to happen in the election. What type of an election do you say ‘we have an election on Sunday but you are going to vote on Monday?’ Zanu-PF said ‘we are having elections on Sunday but you are going to vote on Monday’. They are conditioning us for what’s happening when we go to the elections. We are going to have elections on July the 31st but you already voted on July the 30th. So we have already voted what is left is for us to be informed.
