Chamisa Must Fire His Advisers, He Was Thoughtless To Take Political Matters To Court: Analyst

Political analyst Maxwell Saungweme has criticised MDC-T leader Nelson Chamisa for his actions and his subsequent loss at the High Court. Chamisa lost at the High Court after Bulawayo High Court judge Justice Francis Bere ruled that his attempt to bar Khupe from using the MDC-T name and symbols was not urgent. Said Saungweme,

Chamisa and his conclave of heedless political jesters are entirely to blame for the court humiliation. It was so thoughtless for him and his cabal to take a purely political issue to courts. He credulously avoided going through an extraordinary congress to settle the successions issue.

He opted for an un-constitutional and illegal way to usurp power using a caucus he made himself to believe was a national council.

He showed his disregard for the law and constitution when he did the coup. It was therefore an act of duplicity to then try to go to courts to bar Khupe from using party name and symbols. He showed his deceitfulness in wanting to follow the law and constitutions when it suits him, but not always. Politics is not about that.

Labelling Khupe as Zanu PF is equally ridiculous as Zanu PF labelling Tsvangirai as an agent of the white westerners.

  1. now because its Chamisa it is a coup,Munangagwa is restore legacy.kkkkkkk VaSaungweme symbol or no symbol,we voteChamisa into office

  2. His advisers need attention. I think they have led him astray several times now. We don’t want people misleading our President N. Chamisa. We are behind you Mr President. Now is your time, now is Zimbabwe’s time!

  3. Please find time to reflect at events that happened during 2013 election campaign period. How Chamisa’s god told him mdc was going to win by 65%, and went to lose by 34%. How they were mocking mugabe as a yesterday man, but went on to lose to the ancestor. How tsvangirai would gather even larger crowds that did not translate to vote. The day mdc is going to sit down and self introspect is when they may win elections. Right now its just a group of excitable characters who really dont have any standing values to stand for. No wonder they split willy nilly. Someone would want to say zanu pf splits as well but thats not it, zanu pf expels to rejuvinate. Chamisa will lose the same way cause nothing has changed for mdc to lose. Zanu pf has done mock national elections for their primaries, and are commenting on the poor chaotic administration but missing the point that zanu pf has tested and got a true assessment of its strength. Please look at the real issues, taneta nekutaurirwa kuti zanu ino rigga. Gore rino mdc inosara ichidaro yega international world yakamira na ED. How look at how mdc fell for operation restore legacy. Its a party isina intelligence. Dai chamisa achipedza nguva yakawanda akanyarara hake pamwe aizonyatsofunga.
