Mnangagwa Helps Tsvangirai Family To Get Farm, Scholarships, Start Water Purification Project

The family of the late MDC-T founding leader Morgan Tsvangirai has revealed that it met with President Emmerson Mnangagwa who promised to come to the family’s aid following difficulties. Tsvangirai family spokesperson, Garikai Tsvangirai, son of the late opposition leader said:

We met His Excellency, the President, at his offices at Munhumutapa. We had gone there to convey our gratitude as children of the late Mr Tsvangirai. It was a fruitful meeting in which the President promised to own up to all his promises he made before and after our father’s death. We did not follow the party line on this one because we felt it was for us as children.

Garikai revealed that Mnangagwa promised that the family would receive a farm, a full scholarship for Tsvangirai’s daughter, Milicent, and help in starting a water purification project for the family.   Lands Minister retired Air Chief Marshal Perrance Shiri and Minister of Scholarships Christopher Mushowe are handing the first two issues.
