Fire Mukupe If You’re A Real President: Evan Mawarire Challenges Mnangagwa

ThisFlag founder Evan Mawarire has challenged President Emmerson Mnangagwa to fire Deputy Finance Minister Terence Mukupe for beating Ignatius Mvere (58) who is the Finance Ministry’s Finance Director. Mukupe beat up Mvere for allegedly giving him a “paltry $910 travel allowance” when he went on a three-day Sadc business trip to South Africa.

He was arrested and paid an admission of guilt fine of $30 on April 10 at Harare Central Police Station and was issued with a ticket in the Z69J book number 1308983B. However, Mawarire who is also running for the Harare Ward 17 council seat in this year’s elections, challenged Mnangagwa to fire Mukupe to prove he is a real President. Writing on Twitter Mawarire said:

This is the kind of nonsense our nation must not tolerate. President Mnangagwa this is a disgrace and if you truly have zero tolerance towards abuse of office and corruption then Mukupe must not continue in this job. This is a disgrace. Fire Mukupe if you’re a real president.

  1. shameless arrogant and brainless Mukupe should have resigned on his own. What a disgrace.

Disgusting violent Zanu thugs showing off their true colors.

Mukupe’s wife is not safe at all from this brutal fake minister of an imbecilic buffoon. Obviously he’s a perpetrator of domestic violence with this kind of barbarian behavior.

Vote for change not this bullshit.

    kiss my ass Mukupe.
