Marry Chiwenga's Company Awarded Contract To Manage Mnangagwa' Travel

President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration is reported to have awarded a lucrative contract to manage travel arrangements for the Office of the President and Cabinet (OPC) to Marry Chiwenga, wife of Vice President, General Constantino Chiwenga. The contract was awarded in early January to Marry Chiwenga’s company East Town Holdings, despite the fact that it had not submitted most of the required documents such as tax clearances. A letter written by Deputy Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet Ray Ndlukula reads,

However, please be advised that your company needs to submit the following to ensure smooth operations:

3. Tax Clearance Certificate from ZIMRA
4. Certificate of Incorporation
5. CR14 Form
6. Submissions of names of staff members you will be working with on all assignments for security clearance purposes. This is to ensure that all possible threats are eliminated.
