Expelled G40 members Kudakwashe Bhasikiti and Jeppy Jaboon have said that they are now members of the opposition and will be fighting to remove Zanu-PF from power.
In an interview with The Herald, Jaboon said he is a colleague of MDC-T leader Nelson Chamisa although he has not joined his party. Said Jaboon:
Chamisa is my colleague. We are all opposition members, but I have not joined them. I am not an MDC-T member. It was just a picture taken of us.
Bhasikiti however confirmed being a member of the MDC Alliance and was not rejoining Zanu-PF. He also appealed to other G40 members to join the MDC Alliance. Said Bhasikiti:
We started the MDC Alliance. We actually launched it. We are the alliance.

NO, NO, NO, G40 members want Grace to be president, they should not be allowed to join other parties. Any party associating itself with G40 members should not be trusted because we will find ourselves back in 2014
The nickel has dropped I said this before there is silence on how Chamisa will stop the G40 or Grace and Mugabe from coming back into power in person or through proxy and furthermore Chamisa uses age as a hard against ZANU Pf which echoes G40s words who is funding Chamisa People of Zimbabwe Samora Machel said if a Hawk sees two Rabits fighting it becomes very happy because it can eat them both Please vote wisely
Signs and action has been already seen all the years, people have been in the opposition before, ZANU PF lets now wakeup, dont just take people into our Revolutionary Party, Ndeyeropa iyii.
Vetting first before any being accepted in our Revolution ZANU PF Party, Maonaka hamadzangu Vatengesi tinavo, hokoyo macdes.
A vote for MDC remains a vote for it. MDC should not allow defectors to become their mouthpieces. If people have overwhelmingly voted for ZANU PF before, they can’t be denied to vote for the opposition party
African politics, esp Zim politics is faceless and lacks commitment to the country’s real issues. Our politics is full of political prostitutes: unashamed and power hungry.
