MDC-T Vice President Elias Mudzuri has expressed doubt over the party’s leader Nelson Chamisa saying that the party followed public opinion in choosing the late founding party president Mr Morgan Tsvangirai’s successor.
Said Mudzuri
There is a lot I can say, but he is already there and we have to find a way of working with him and to see whether we can deliver the political goods. Opinions sometimes don’t matter about public office, it is the public that judges people. The only thing that I can say is he has reached 40 years. That’s the age you are allowed to become a president. And we have to work to find if we get there. But if we don’t (win elections) that will be unfortunate, but people would have seen that maybe, that is when people revise what they would have done. People never revise when they are in a certain mode. There is a saying by Confucius a great Chinese philosopher; ‘when the wind blows all the grass bends towards the wind’.
Mudzuri believes MDC-T should not have dismissed Thokozani Khupe and her allies stating that it was Tsvangirai’s wish for them to be united.

With all due respect Engineer you are more effective behind the scenes of the party, its people like you who give Khupe false hope that we the MDC supporters like her. We are for Chamisa, inasmuch as it is a bitter pill to swallow, we dont want her.
Pana Chamisa tairasa paya,
iti ndairasa kwete tairasa unless of course if you are a lacoste
Sure Tairasa
Speak for yourself. Don’t try to force your opinions down others’ throats. Whatever decision has been made will negatively affect the MDC one way or another. There is nothing positive in dismissing a senior member who was elected previously unless perhaps them having committed a crime. The MDC needs to introspect on mob psychology – we have seen this kind of behaviour tear apart Zanu PF. Mobs tend to be more destructive than creative.
well said
the problem with mdc supporters is mental constipation if chamisa fails to abide by his party’s constitution do u think if elected to state president having powers what will stop him from being a dictotor this is mugabe in the making .the mdc is making a similar mistake made by zanu 37 years ago.
why using the representative pronoun “WE” in place of ” I”; bec it might b only you & not the rest-all people have different opinions on various issues;some are just in between only following the wind-its their choice who are you to question it?
Addmore you said it better. Mudzuri has his bread buttered on Khupe ‘side. He is on a miss ion like a cancer cell
Greed at its best, if their goal is to serve us the people of zimbabwe, y not unite and find a common ground. Mullo na tsed ndi yone thaidzo kha vharangaphanda vhashu
who dismissed Khupe is it Chamisa or khupe herself dismissing herself? and in your own analysis do you think Khupe have the capacity to unseat Mnangagwa. You need to assess thing with open minds and shut mouth
Neither chqmisa nor Kkkhupe have capacity to unseat munangagwa but united zimbos under united opposition leaders will chase the looters from national offices
Its sad to see people who are persmistiic about the future of mdct. The future is bright with pastor chamisa a good orater, khupe has moved on which is her democratic right maitiro ako ayo chinja:D
Remember Khupe she did not want fomer members of MDC when there wanted to come back to the party when Mr Tsvangirai said let’s come together as one and do the Wright thing so that we can win ZANU OF she said no now Tsvangirai is gone she what to be the leading role and remember she was told not to attend the meeting in Cape town but she did she whet to Tsvangirai when he was in Hospital in South Africa who knows what she was dowing she got something behind all this I have found very much dissenting to hear about her saying I am the choice of the party
Well said Mudzuri people will remember your word’s
A divided mdc led by nelson to me is much better than United mdc led by Khupe categoticary. She is not inspiring and very weak. she can never captivate the youth and does not appeal to the broader masses of the whole country
