Sort Yourselves Out, We Will Not Interfere: ZEC Tells Warring MDC-T "Parties"

Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) Justice Priscilla Chigumba has written to the MDC-T party highlighting that the electoral body was not going to involve itself in internal party politics and leadership disputes. This comes after former MDC-T Vice President Thokozani Khupe has indicated that she will participate in the 2018 harmonised elections under the name MDC-T. This could potentially lead to confusion and legal battles as Khupe was expelled from the MDC-T for refusing to endorse Chamisa.
Part of the letter written by Justice Chigumba to the MDC and addressed tto the party headquarters at Harvest House, reads,
Your letter dated the 5th of March 2018 regarding the above subject matter (Party Leadership) refers.
