Video: Trailer of "Beautiful" - Documentary On Autism By Hopewell Chin’ono

Award-winning Zimbabwean journalist and documentary filmmaker, Hopewell Chin’ono, is set to start production on a new documentary film called Beautiful which is centred on Autism. Production will start as soon as his latest film, State of Mind which looks at mental illness in Zimbabwe is out.

Writes Chin’ono on his Facebook page,

My next documentary film will be called Beautiful. It is a story about Autism centered around a teenager called Tawana. It will show the struggles that his carers and indeed himself have to deal with living with the condition.

I thought I should share with you the Broadcasters trailer. This is a piece of video that filmmakers make for institutional funders like broadcasters to have a look at in order to have an idea of the story.

I will be starting production on the documentary film Beautiful as soon as State of Mind, a film I that I have just finished is out. State of Mind looks at mental illness in Zimbabwe.
