Chief Justice of the Constitutional and Supreme Court, Luke Malaba today (Thursday) launched the anti-corruption courts. The five specialised courts are located in Harare and Bulawayo, with three of the courts in the capital and the remaining two in Bulawayo. The Judicial Services Commission (JSC) has appointed 12 magistrates who received specialised training to preside over the courts.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Virginia Mabhiza revealed that the establishment of the courts was one of her Ministry’s goals in the 100-day Rapid results Initiative. President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration has said that corruption is one of its major priorities
