Unhappy Zanu-PF Youths Threaten “Bhora Musango”

Zanu-PF Youth League members in Zvishavane have threatened to pull another “Bhora Musango” where they will vote for the opposition to ensure that Lewis Matutu (pictured) does not win the constituency. The youths are arguing that Matutu, who is the deputy secretary for the youth league, is divisive and should not be imposed on the constituency.  The seat Matutu is eying is currently being held by Zanu-PF MP John Holder.

Youth league activists who spoke to NewsDay said,

The guy is just a divisive element and there is risk of bhora musango if the party imposes him in Zvishavane-Ngezi.

…As much, as we appreciate students who support the party, it boggles the mind for a party youth leader to forget those who come from the same constituency he wants to contest.

Matutu confirmed his interest in running for the constituency, although he blamed his political rivals for making unfounded allegations against him.
