Don’t Expect Us To Perform Miracles: Mohadi Speaks On Economy

Addressing Zanu-PF members during a national cell verification meeting in Epworth, Harare, yesterday Acting President Kembo Mohadi said Zimbabweans should no expect the current administration to transform the economy in three months.

Said Mohadi:

For the past two decades, our economy was not performing well and don’t expect us as the new leadership to perform miracles. But there is goodwill internationally. If international investors invest here, they will not take everything away. They will create jobs for our people and as Government we will be able to get money from taxes. Give us a chance. We have been in office for only three months. Give us a five-year term and see what we can do. We have the capacity to deliver on our promises. It’s us who liberated the country and by the same token we can fix the economy. Where you deploy us, expect results and we will deliver. We did this with Command Agriculture during the 2016-2017 agriculture season.

  1. Is it possible to open an account in Zimbabwe with Zimbabwe money that I have in the United States?

  2. Eish it’s only that we don’t have an option this ZANU Pf is just going to win these elections whether we like it or not, but from 1980 really Sir Mohadi you still need more 5 years hahaha, be an advisor now and let the new generation lead. There are young people there in zanu pf let them lead and you guys be advisor’s murikudzimba dzenyu makatadza kare kare just accept that and move on, this country can be a good country if you guys give the young generation a chance.
Iko kuramba muchingotonga, moramba muchingotonga, muchingotonga, muchingotonga kusvika hameno muchingotonga ndiko kunotoratidza maInvestors kut hapana chinobuda apa you not there for any good for the country but for other personal gains and other things we don’t know.
What I can conclude is that you guys have killed your conscience and you no longer care about people’s suffering anymore it’s always fine as long as you guys are living good and you have everything you need including cash, cars, farms, houses, businesses and mines.
You can even be good investors for the country if you concentrate on one thing from the list and produce for the country but that will never happen you guys are used to it now producing for your personal gains and you still need more 5 years to keep doing that and expect investors to come….
