The contract between Andy Muridzo and Jah Prayzah’s Military Touch Movement has been officially terminated. The Sunday Mail today revealed that following the public revelations about the broken down relationship, and a letter to MTM from Muridzo, the contract was now officially over.
Part of a letter from MTM official, Keen Mushapaidze, reads:
We acknowledge receiving your email dated March 5, 2018 wherein you stated your intention to leave MTM and that you were terminating your contract with immediate effect. We would like to inform you that we have considered your request and hereby consent to the termination of your contract with MTM.
Andy Muridzo, along with other artists, signed onto the MTM stable in January 2017. Not long after signing on, however, Muridzo complained that Military Touch was focused on Jah Prayzah at the expense of other artists in the stable.
Two weeks ago, Andy Muridzo announced that even though he was still under contract, he was leaving MTM. He accused Jah Prayzah of selfishness and exploitation.
