Musician Andy Muridzo was arrested on Thursday following a hit-and-run accident which took place two weeks ago. Muridzo was reportedly arrested last night and taken to Harare Central Police Station after escaping when the police tried to arrest him midweek when he was performing.
According to police sources, Muridzo does not have a drivers licence and was involved in an accident where he allegedly hit three vehicles near the central business district before escaping. One of the cars is reported to have been damaged beyond repair with the vehicle owner sustaining serious injuries.

Professionally, Muridzo is also having issues after he attacked Jah Prayzah and his Military Touch Movement despite being contracted to them for five years. Muridzo claimed that Jah Prayzah has not assisted him in any way, and is instead grabbing all the good opportunities for himself.
