Potraz Vows To Continue Cautioning, Penalising Networks To Protect Subscribers
The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has vowed to continue protecting subscribers from mobile network operators (MNOs). This comes weeks after NetOne was ordered to refund consumers after OneFusion data bundles “disappeared” due to a billing error.
Speaking at a consumer awareness roadshow, Potraz head of consumer affairs and publicity George Manyaya said,
You have a right to quality telecommunication services and if you are not happy you should come to us.
Feedback…Zimbabweans deserve easy access and affordable ICT solutions and as the regulator we are here for you. We will continue cautioning and penalising operators if they go against consumer rights as we have you at heart.
