Soldiers Speak On Reports They Raided Mugabe's House And Interrogated His Workers
Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has responded to reports that some of its members raided former President Robert Mugabe’s Blue Roof residence and arrested some of his workers.
Speaking to NewsDay, ZNA spokesman, Colonel Overson Mugwisi denied the reports and said they did not send any of their men there. He added that the army had no reason to interrogate Mugabe’s workers. Said Colonel Mugwisi:
We have no men who did that. It could have been other people, but it was not our men.
FeedbackSouth African media outlets reported that some of Mugabe’s workers had been taken in for questioning over Mugabe’s political activities.
