Mnangagwa Donates 200 Laptops To Mudzidzi Wimbo's School
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has donated 200 laptops to Madzibaba Wimbo’s Centre Zimbabwe Africa (CZA) High School in Shamva District.
The laptops were handed over by Minister of ICT and Cyber Security Supa Mandiwanzira today. Also present at the handover ceremony was Zanu PF Mashonaland Central provincial chairman Kazembe Kazembe, who is also Sport, Arts and Recreation Minister, government officials, and the school authorities led by the school head Shepherd Chingwena.
ZBC reports the laptops were part of a pledge made by Mnangagwa when he visited the school on the 7th of February this year to assess progress regarding construction, which started in November 2015 after he made a donation of 90 tonnes of cement and $5000 when he was still Vice President. Mudzidzi Wimbo’s school first enrolled on 2 May 2016 with 17 students. Now it has 305 learners – 142 boys, 163 girls, both day scholars and boarders.
