Chipanga Distances Self From Mugabe's NPF, Throws Weight Behind Mnangagwa

In an interview with ZBC, former Zanu-PF Secretary for Youth Affairs, Kudzanai Chipanga has dismissed reports that he is a member of the Ambrose Mutinhiri led National Patriotic Front (NPF). State controlled media has been reporting that Chipanga and other G40 members are part of the new political party.

He also denied that he is part of the NPF leadership as suggested by a picture doing the rounds on social media which has since been confirmed as fake by Jealousy Mawarire. Chipanga revealed that he has since applied for readmission into the ruling Zanu PF party. Said Chipanga:

My heart is still with Zanu PF and whether I am re-admitted into the party or not, I will still vote for the revolutionary party and President Emmerson Mnangagwa in the upcoming elections.
