Details of Harare Shooting Emerge. Victim Couple In Mistaken Identity

Police chief spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba has commented on the shooting in Harare on Monday night.

According to Charamba, a Chinese man and his business partner were attacked by armed robbers who shot at their vehicle, a Toyota Quantum and stole $8,500 bond notes 9:30PM along the Harare-Mutare Road near Marondera.

Some of the robbers took the Toyota Quantum and drove to Harare. The rest of the robbers drove in their getaway vehicle.

A report made resulted in a shootout between the police and the robbers around the Belgravia KFC area which resulted in a man and his girlfriend being caught up.

Update:  The victims have been identified as Zanu-PF MP Keith Guzah’s son Kevin and his girlfriend Kudzanai.  However, there is a risk that Kudzanai may never be able to walk again.
