Makandiwa’s Lawyer Exposes Former Congregants In Fake Prophesies Case

Advocate Lewis Uriri who is representing United Family International Church (UFIC) founder Emmanuel Makandiwa and his wife Ruth in a $6,5 million suit by former congregants Upenyu Mashangwa and his wife Blessing has revealed that the former congregants lied to the court in their High Court summons.

Investigations by Uriri revealed that the Mashangwas Marlborough property was never attached and sold for $500 000 to recover a debt owed to ZB Bank as they claim in their summons. Uriri states that the property was sold two times Nemaji Family Trust and Walter Magaya and his wife Tendai. Said Advocate Uriri:

On the contrary, the plaintiffs in their capacity as directors of Carmeco, sold beneficial ownership of the said property to Nemaji Family Trust represented by one Stewart Nyamushaya by agreement dated 29 February 2012, which agreement they admit, but avoid in case number HC6417 /14 on the basis that their nominated receiving agent did not in fact pass on the purchase price to them.

Uriri also argued that the Mashangwas misled the court by claiming that they were represented by a de-registered lawyer Tichaona Mawere in their court case when court record show that they engaged a lawyer called Tichaona Govero of Govero Law Chambers.

  1. Lets say for example Farmer A has a tomato field that has been struck by fungus or nematodes. And when he harvests he comes across rotten tomatoes one after the other. Now Farmer A’s next door neighbour (farmer B) , a seasoned farmer, has healthy tomatoes. He irrigates, sprays, puts his vegetable in a greenhouse, weeds the vegetable bed regularly and prunes his tomatoes such that none of his crop is rotten. Why would farmer A wake up during the middle of the night, take his rotten crop, jump his perimeter wall over to farmer B’s garden and systematically throw his rotten tomatoes among Farmer B’s healthy tomatoes during the night? Why does farmer A want passers by and customers to think that all the farmers have produced rotten tomatoes the next morning? .
