Chiwenga, Mnangagwa in Emergency Meeting Over Mugabe, Mujuru Alliance

President Emmerson Mnangagwa and his deputy Vice President, Retired General Constantino Chiwenga are reported to have held an emergency meeting to discuss the ramifications of former president Robert Mugabe’s meeting with former Vice President Joice Mujuru. However, the two are reported to have met on their own without Vice President Kembo Mohadi.

The weekly publication, the Standard reports that a confidential source told it:

Basically, the fear is that Mugabe, through his boys [G40] could infiltrate and cause the destabilisation of this government, so the two talked on how to handle such possibilities bearing in mind the possibility of some G40 MPs joining hands with Mujuru’s National People’s Party (NPP).

They discussed attempts to cause divisions amongst themselves which they suspected was being pushed by some within the intelligence through the spread of propaganda alleging that they are not working well together or were plotting against each other.

Mugabe is reported to be behind the creation of the new opposition party, the New Patriotic Front, although there has been no official confirmation from the party.

  1. mnangagwa don’t be a sisis you talk of democracy practice it now its a free country every one is entitled to his or her opinion and if their break the law that’s why your dirty prisons are therefore you don’t have to keep guide stop parading yourself on the media at times its good but the the way round it shows your weakness you don’ have to care what people are saying you do the good you promise quietly change your divisor

  2. Mugabe in his day would be very wicked and decisive if someone started their own party or even try to stand as an independent i remember when Tekere started Zum mugabe send Maurice Nyaghmbo who was ttekerez best friend and homeboy to take away the house the party had bought him and the Jaguar in other words take Edgar Tekere to the cleaners I think ED you should do the same to Mugabe give him a choice to shut up or send him packing to live in his Highfield municipal house with bullet holes
