Mnangagwa Assures African Union Mugabe Is Safe, Pledges To Preserve His Legacy

Addressing the 30th African Union Summit which is currently underway in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, President Emmerson Mnangagwa reiterated his pledge to preserve the legacy of former President Robert Mugabe and assured the continental bloc of his safety.

Mnangagwa also took time to thank the African Union and the regional bloc, SADC for supporting Operation Restore Legacy. Said Mnangagwa:

May I inform this august chamber that, your brother, President Mugabe is safe, secure and well. The transition was very peaceful and we are happy that we faced challenges as a nation and managed to resolve the challenges as a nation. We wish to thank Sadc and the whole continent.

He also repeated his message that Zimbabwe is open for business.

  1. It would appear that Zimbabwe’s blindness is shared by Africa in general. As someone from Zim told me recently “It is not untill you step back that you see the blind leading the blind and Mugabe and Mnangagwa beat the drum that keeps them falling into the ditch or sometimes they help them with a beating here a truck in the middle of the night there every where a CIO interrogation fear and failure everywhere.

The overriding sadness at the continued deception cruelty and deprivation visited upon a wonderful people surely those who live in Zimbabwe can see that the only way forward is a complete changing of the guard from the Top down

Under Mnangagwa I see blood on the streets I see horror and depravity as never before and an attempt to seriously remove him will stir a military repression as never before but know this Zimbabwe… The world is watching stop glorifying a war that ended in even greater deprivations under Mugabe and Mnangagwa than under any other form of governance did they truly set you free that they could take and torture you, deny you your rights to good food, homes and education whilst these so called revolutionaries plundered the wealth of your nation
Not one Zimbabwean owes Mugabe Mnangagwa or any of their cronies anything
    They owe you!
Mugabe is not the father of Zimbabwe he is the recipient of the rewards handed to him by a corrupt Britain looking to keeps its fingers in the mineral wealth of Zimbabwe which belongs to you and your children be you black or white.
If you are white you cannot fail to see the pain if the black if you are black you cannot take the benefit of having the white population by taking everything they worked for and hating them the consequence of that has led to the starvation of Zimbabwe from food to development to education and health till all if Zimbabwe is destitute and her glory lost

If the whites continue to be denied based on the colour of their skin Zimbabwe will continue to falter

Only new will bring justice for all.

  2. One thing is certain. The legacy (if that is the word that should be used?) of Robert Mugabe will never be forgotten. The results of all of his actions will remind Zimbabweans of his rule for a long time and ultimately history will record them too.
