President Emmerson Mnangagwa met with International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Christine Lagarde on Thursday on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Lagarde welcomed Mnangagwa’s commitment to stabilising the Zimbabwean economy and working towards normalising the country’s engagement with the international community. Speaking on Twitter after the meeting with Mnangagwa, Lagarde reitarated the IMF’s commitment to assist Zimbabwe.
