President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to visit Angola this Friday (tomorrow) as part of efforts to seal international endorsement of the controversial power transfer that took place through Operation Restore Legacy.
Mnangagwa is expected to meet his Angolan counterpart President Joao Lourenco who is the current SADC chair. NewZimbabwe reports Mnangagwa will hold talks on the political situation in Harare ahead of this year’s crunch elections. His visit to Angola comes after an announced visit to South Africa whose purpose has not been confirmed by Government.
